Jorge (Jay) Reynardus is General Counsel for EBG, responsible to lead the company’s legal strategy, practices, and policies. He acts as a key partner to the leadership and business units across the organization on a wide range of legal matters including corporate strategies, reporting, compliance, risk mitigation, governance and business transactions. Jay also leads the company’s legal review of potential mergers & acquisitions activity.

Jay joined EBG from the Amadeus Group, a leading provider of travel technology solutions, where he held roles of increasing responsibility since 2008, culminating as the General Counsel, Americas in 2018. During his 17-year tenure at Amadeus, Jay was responsible for leading the legal function, including combined assurance, transactions, regulatory, compliance, intellectual property, litigation, and was a member of the company’s Global Ethics Committee and Regional Data Privacy team.

Prior to joining the Amadeus Group, Jay was an associate at Holland & Knight law firm. He holds a Masters in US History/ International Studies from Florida International University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
